Ayda Hwa During the golden time of Mawoo, she was tormented by a primeval serpent named Ayda Hwa. As Mawoo created good and natural creatures, Ayda Hwa would sometimes eat them, sometimes empower them, and sometimes twist them. Often making them work against the natural order, which was so central to Mawoo and her followers. Over time Ayda Hwa started to gather human followers, who formed a powerful witch cult in the land. They gathered secret members from the powerful families and peasants alike. Ayda Hwa and his followers would often raise the dead and use these Duppy spirits to carry out nefarious tasks. The Edcci people have a strong disliking for undead and they believe it corrupts the ancestor spirits and gnaws at the foundation of their culture and society. |
